ANOMALITH preorders close on 28 October 2026 at 23:59 JST — 14:59 UTC — the moment the game unlocks in Japan. Ordering before then adds the Lost Property Control Organization collaboration set, and on consoles it also locks in a 10% reduction where that storefront offers one.
The deadline in plain numbers
23:59 JST on 28 October is 14:59 UTC, 10:59 on the US east coast, and 22:59 in Beijing. The game itself unlocks one second later.
Everything the publisher calls a preorder bonus is tied to that timestamp. After it, the collaboration mission, the outfit, the drone skin and the materials set stop being included.
What the bonus contains
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Collaboration side mission | "Contradictory Otherworld Response", accepted from the workshop board |
| Collaboration outfit set | Lost Property Control Organization outfit |
| Drone skin | T-6407 J |
| Development Materials Set | Two linking blocks, two high-anomaly weapon parts, two alarm pagers |
The mission is the part with gameplay attached: it unlocks as you progress, is accepted from the board in the Workshop, and pays out the outfit and drone skin on completion. The materials arrive once the Shooting Range opens.
The two store-specific outfits
Every preorder gets the collaboration set. The storefront adds one cosmetic on top, and the two consoles do not get the same one.
PlayStation Store adds the Blue Powered Suit outfit plus the Anomaly Zone Investigator Set (A): five small sedatives, three grenades and twenty handgun rounds. My Nintendo Store adds the Red Casual Punk outfit plus Investigator Set (B): the same sedatives and grenades, with sixty submachine gun rounds instead of handgun ammunition.
Steam has no platform-exclusive outfit. PC buyers get the collaboration set and nothing store-specific.
Where the 10% actually applies
Two reductions exist, and they are not the same offer.
On PlayStation, PS Plus members get 10% off either edition until 15:00 UTC on 28 October — $44.99 for standard, $62.99 for Deluxe. In Japan, the eShop applies 10% to preorders until 14:59:59 UTC, taking JP¥8,580 to JP¥7,722 and JP¥12,100 to JP¥10,890.
The US eShop lists no preorder reduction, and Steam's store page carries no launch discount. If you are buying on PC or in the US on Switch 2, the preorder buys you the bonus items rather than a cheaper price.
The 48-hour early access
Digital Deluxe preorders on PS5 include 48 hours of early access, which puts the window at roughly 26 October given the 28 October unlock.
It belongs to the Deluxe edition on PlayStation only. The standard digital edition does not include it, the disc does not include it, and no other platform offers it.
How the bonuses arrive
Nothing here is a code. The mission, outfits, drone skin and materials set are store entitlements attached to your account, delivered automatically with the purchase and visible in-game once the relevant system unlocks.
That is also why the game has no code list: there is no redemption field to type one into. A site offering an ANOMALITH code is inventing it.
Physical preorders
The PS5 Launch Edition can be preordered for 12 November delivery and carries the collaboration set plus the Armed Schoolgirl outfits and three weapons. It does not arrive early and does not include the 48-hour access.
Japanese and Asian physical preorders close earlier in practice, because retailers allocate stock ahead of the 29 October street date. The limited Hazard Response Unit box is a finite run rather than a made-to-order product.
Should you preorder?
If you want the collaboration mission and the outfits, yes — and before 23:59 JST rather than on the day. On PlayStation the preorder also buys the cheapest price available at launch.
If you are buying on PC or the US eShop, there is no discount to lose by waiting, so the only thing a preorder secures is the bonus set. That is a reasonable trade if you already know you want the game, and not a reason to buy one you are unsure about.
Reading the bonus list correctly
Two things in the list are easy to misread. The collaboration mission is not a separate mode; it is a side mission that unlocks from the workshop board as you progress, and the outfit and drone skin are its rewards rather than items granted at installation.
The Development Materials Set is the second: it is delivered once the Shooting Range unlocks, which happens after the opening. A preorder that appears to have granted nothing in the first hour has simply not reached the delivery point.
Physical preorders run on a different clock
The PS5 Launch Edition can be preordered for 12 November delivery, and its contents are the collaboration set plus the Armed Schoolgirl outfits and three weapons. It does not arrive early and does not include the 48-hour access.
Japanese and Asian physical preorders close earlier in practice, because retailers allocate stock ahead of the 29 October street date. The Japanese limited box is a finite run, and its first allocation sold through.
Whether to preorder on console or PC
On PlayStation the preorder is also the cheapest price, because the PS Plus reduction closes at unlock. On PC and on the US eShop there is no reduction, so the preorder buys the bonus set and nothing else.
That makes the console decision simple if you subscribe to PS Plus: order before 23:59 JST and you get both the discount and the bonus. On PC, the same money buys the same game a day later.
What the Deluxe preorder adds beyond the bonus
The Digital Deluxe includes the art book, the mini-soundtrack and the Countermeasures Office DLC set regardless of when you buy. The preorder adds the collaboration set on top, and on PS5 it adds the 48-hour window.
So a Deluxe preorder is the only purchase that stacks everything: the DLC set, the collaboration mission, the early access and, with PS Plus, the 10% reduction.
If none of those extras matter to you, the standard edition on launch day is the same game at the same price.
The one thing a preorder cannot buy is a different game: every edition ships the same campaign, the same twelve skills and the same 200-plus reports. Check the storefront rather than the store name: PlayStation's own store and Nintendo's own store are the two that carry the exclusive outfits.
