The ANOMALITH Physical Launch Edition is a $59.99 PlayStation 5 disc released on 12 November 2026 by NIS America. It contains the game plus the Lost Property Control Organization collaboration mission, several outfit sets, three weapons and three consumable packs. It is PS5 only, and there is no equivalent Western box for Switch 2.

The mission is the item with actual gameplay attached: a side mission that unlocks from the board in the Workshop, with the outfit and the drone skin awarded for completing it rather than granted at installation.

How it compares to Digital Deluxe

The Digital Deluxe costs $10 more than the disc at $69.99 and contains the game, an 80-page digital art book, a selection of mini-soundtrack tracks and the same Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office DLC set that includes the Armed Schoolgirl outfits and the three weapons.

So the Launch Edition trades the art book and soundtrack for a physical disc and a lower price. Its contents list covers the in-game items only; the printed art book and the soundtrack CD belong to the Japanese limited box.

What the collaboration mission actually is

The Lost Property Control Organization mission is a side story rather than a story chapter. It unlocks as you progress, is accepted from the board in the Workshop, and pays out the outfit and drone skin when completed.

That structure matters if you are choosing between editions: the mission is not a code you might forget to redeem, it is content that appears in the game once the entitlement is on your account. It also means the bonus is not something you can miss by playing in the wrong order.

Is $59.99 the right price?

Compare three numbers: $49.99 for the standard digital game, $59.99 for the disc with the DLC set, $69.99 for Digital Deluxe with the art book and soundtrack.

If you value the DLC set at roughly the $10 gap and you want a disc, the Launch Edition is coherent. If you do not care about outfits and weapons, the standard edition is $10 cheaper and the game is identical. The only buyer the Launch Edition clearly suits is someone who wants a box and the cosmetic set together.

Where to buy it

The Western release is distributed by NIS America and sold through its own store and specialist import retailers. One confirmed listing is Video Games Plus, which prices the PS5 Launch Edition at CAD $79.99 for 12 November — the same product in Canadian dollars.

Japanese and Asian physical editions are a different product with a different contents list, sold by Clouded Leopard Entertainment. The Japanese limited "Hazard Response Unit" box includes the printed art book and the mini-soundtrack, which the Western Launch Edition does not advertise.

No Switch 2 version in the West

The Launch Edition is PS5 only. No Western Switch 2 physical has been announced, and the Switch 2 packages that do exist are Japanese and Asian game-key cards rather than full cartridges.

That leaves Western Switch 2 owners with the eShop and nothing else. If the box is the reason you are reading this page, PS5 is the only Western platform that will give you one.

What to check before you order

Three details are worth confirming at the point of sale, because retailer listings copy each other and drift: that the listing is the Launch Edition rather than the standard disc, that the platform is PS5, and that the shipping date is 12 November rather than 28 October.

The date confusion is the most common error. Several retailers list 28 October because that is the game's release date, but the disc does not exist until 12 November, and an order placed on the wrong assumption is the one thing this page can save you from.

Is the collaboration mission missable?

No. The mission unlocks from the board in the Workshop as you progress, and it stays available once the entitlement is on your account. There is no window that closes if you finish the story first.

That is worth knowing because limited-time collaboration content is common in this genre. Here the "collaboration" is with an in-fiction organisation rather than another game, so there is no licensing clock running on it.

Selling or trading the disc later

The disc works like any PS5 game: it can be resold, and a second-hand buyer gets the base game. What does not transfer is the DLC entitlement, which is tied to the account that redeemed the Launch Edition rather than to the disc.

So the resale value is that of a used PS5 game, not that of a collector's edition with the bonuses intact. If you are buying as an investment, that is the number to keep in mind.

What is not in the box

No steelbook, no soundtrack CD and no printed art book are listed for the Western Launch Edition. The Japanese limited box includes a printed 80-page art book and a mini-soundtrack; the Western release does not advertise either.

If those two items are what you want, the import is the version with them, and the Japanese box is priced at the same tier as the Digital Deluxe in its own region.

Where the digital bonus actually lands

The Launch Edition's in-game items attach to the account that redeems the disc's entitlement, not to the disc itself. If you sell the disc later, the buyer gets the game and none of the bonuses.

That is also why a used copy is cheaper than a new one in a way that has nothing to do with condition: the DLC has already been spent.

At CAD $79.99 from Video Games Plus, the same box carries a Canadian price rather than a converted one — the standard differential for a $59.99 US release, not a retailer premium.
